SKILL DEVELOPMENT PROMGRAMME ON DTP
SPONSORED BY : NATIONAL BACKWARD CLASSES & FINANCE DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION

DISTRIBUTION OF KITS TO THE CANDIDATES

GHES is running Skill Development Programme on Desk Top Publishing (DTP) for OBC students. Programme is being sponsored by National Backward Classes & Finance Development Corporation & Haryana Backward Classes & Weaker Section Kalyan Nigam. 40 candidates from OBC category are being given training for 2 months. All the candidates were provided with kits for their training which includes Book, Copy, pen and a Bag. Mr. Devender Bhardwaj Administrative Officer HBCKN & Mrs. Bimla Devi -District Manager, Yamuna Nagar HBCKN distributed Kits to the candidates at a function held at Guru Harkrishan Vocational Institute. S. Ajinder Pal Singh Chairman of the society welcomed the guest from HBCKNwith a bunch of flowers  and honored them with a memento. Srd. Gurmeet Kaur Director GHVI presented the report of the society and its functioning. Mr. Bhardwaj guided the candidates about the opportunities  provided to them after completion of their training programme for setting up their own enterprise. Students also spoke about their feelings and experiences during their training programme.

CULTURAL PANORMA

A cultural programme was conducted to enhance the talent of the students and to provide them a stage so they can remove their hesitation and show their talent. the programme was started with a shabad from Puneet followed by various performance of Solo dance, group dance, songs by the students. Students enjoyed a lot and feel motivated by their peroformance. all the participants were honoured by S. Ajinder Pal Singh Ji Chairman GHES, Dr. narinder Singh Vice President GHES and Srd. Gurmeet Kaur Director GHES.

CANDLE/DIYA DECORATING & MEHNDI COMPETITION

To enhance the confidence of the youth, Candle/Diya Making Competition & Mehndi was organized on 10^th November, 2012.Many Students participated in this competition & show their creativity by making the most beautiful candles, Jaspreet Kaur, Gurvinder Kaur, Pooja stood First, Second & Third in the Candle decorating competition. Diya making competition was held, 20 students participated in this competition & show their talent by making the beautiful Diyas. They decorated the Diyas by various ways.Gurvinder Kaur got the first prize, Preeti got the second prize and Simran got the third prize.  In Mehndi competition Komal got first, Menakshi stood second and Pooja got theird prize. Prizes were distributed to the winners by S.Ajinder Pal Singh Chairman of the Society and Dr. narinder Singh Vice President of the Society.
