Coordination Meet between Chamber of Commerce & NSIC:                                                                      

A coordination meet was held between National Small Industries Corporation Ltd & Chamber of commerce Distt Yamuna Nagar at office of Guru Harkrishan Educational Society. This meet was held to provide better coordination between NSIC and the Industrialists and to aware the industrialist of the service provided by NSIC. Mr. Subodh Jaiswal Chief Manager NSIC Delhi was the main speaker who assured the industrialist for better services by NSIC and he appealed the industrialists to join NSIC for their better opportunities and bright future. In this meet Mr. Ajay Gupta, President -Chamber of Commerce , Yamuna Nagar- Jagadhri,  Mr.Gursharan Singh Ex-president and other Industrialist were present . Mr.Ajinder Pal Singh- Chairman GHES presented a moment to Mr. Jaiswal & his team. 

 

Seminar on Resume Building & Interview Preparation

A Seminar was conducted in Shahbad on 27^th Jan, 2012 to improve the employbility skills of the students. In this Seminar Mrs. Gurmeet Kaur Director Guru Harkrishan Vocational Institute interacted with students and tried to improve their employability skills. She trained the students how to prepare their Resume before submitting it to any company or organization. She also taught them how to face the interview, how they have to be dress up for the interview, what questions can be asked during interviews & how they have to answer such questions. Students were also provided with the booklets of how to prepare for interviews. Mr. PushkarDutt DDM NABARD Kurukshetra also motivated the students. S.Ajinder Pal Singh Chairman GHES welcomed to the all guests and students.

Entrepreneurship orientation programme(EOP):

 Entrepreneurship Orientation Programme in the association with NSIC sponsored by Ministry of Small & Medium Enterprise was held on 24^th Jan at Guru Harkrishan Vocational Institute . In this programme  Mr. A.K. Verma Chief Manager NSIC, Mr. Anurag Goel Deputy Manager NSIC, Mrs.Usha Khetrapal Incharge Financial Literacy & Credit Counseling Centre; Reserve Bank of India were th main speakers. About 100 students participated in this seminar. In this seminar students were motivated to start their Entrepreneurship and were also told about the benefits & drawbacks of entrepreneurship as compared to the Jobs. Students were also informed about various schemes of the banks which were helpful to start on Entrepreneurship. S. Ajinder Pal Singh Chairman Guru Harkrishan Educationak Society welcomed delegates & the students & Srd. Gurmeet Kaur Director GHVI thanked all the guests.

VELEDICTION OF SKILL DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME :

Skill Development Programme on Basic Computer Education was concluded at Shahbad. Mr. Pushkar Dutt DDM –NABARD, Kurukshetra was the Chief Guest, he distributed the Certificates and Prizes to the students. Mr. Ashok Nijhawan E.O. of District Industrial Centre was also present, he guided the students about various government schemes to set up their own enterprise, and briefly told them main points to be taken care of for setting up their own enterprise. S. Ajinder Pal Singh, Chairman GHES thanks the guest, staff and the students for their cooperation  during the project, he also gave the mementos as the honour to the guests.
