SDI –Programme 

GHES started Skill Development Institute in Basic Computer Programme at Shahbad Markanda in association with NABARD. In this programme 25 candidates will be given Basic Computer Education for 2 months. On the inauguration of Programme Mr. Pushkar Dutt, D.D.M.NABARD welcomed the candidates in the programme& Mr. D.K Bajaj, chief manager PNB shahbad assured the students for financial guidance and assistance who wish to setup their own Enterprise

Exposure Visit of the farmers:

 

Ten farmers of the village visited Centre of Excellence for Vegetables, Gharaunda in Karnal district on 30^th November. Dr. S.K. Yadav Project Office welcomed the farmers and Dr. S.K. Arora Sr. Consultant (Veg Crops) briefed the farmers about the benefits of the Green House, which crops can be cultivated in the green house and when they can be sown to get the maximum yield and profit. Mr. Ajinder Pal Singh, Chairman of GHES motivated the farmers to adopt the culture of the Green house.

Inauguration of SDI (Cutting, Tailoring & Garment Design) at Rajpura:

Inauguration of SDI on Cutting, Tailoring & Garment Design was done on 19^th Dec. In this programme 25 girls and women form the village and surroundings are selected and will be imparted training in Garment Design, cutting and tailoring. They will also be imparted training for Entrepreneurship for setting up their own business.   The programme was attended by Mr. V.K. Julka DDM- PNB, R.K. Vohra Director- RSETTI, Mr. Sanjay Chona- DDM NABARD, Mrs. Manjeet Kaur- Sarpanch, Mr. Ajinder Pal Singh- Chairman- GHES. On the inauguration of Programme Mr. Sanjay Chona, D.D.M.-NABARD welcomed the candidates in the programme& Mr. V.K.Julka, DDM- PNB  assured the students for financial guidance and assistance who wish to setup their own Enterprise

 

Skill Development Programme:

Under Community Development Programme Through Polytechnic

Six Month Skill Development Programme of Computer Operator was completed under Community Development Programme of Ministry of Human Resource & Development (Govt of India).In this programme, 30 students were given 6 months training in Computer Free of cost. Valediction of the programme was done on 3^rd Jan, 2012 in which Mr. Anil Budhiraja Principal of Seth Jai Parkash Polytechnic, Damla & Chief co-ordinator of the programme distributed certificates to the students. S.Ajinder Pal Singh, Chairman Guru Harkrishan Educational Society & Srd. Gurmeet Kaur - Director Guru Harkrishan Vocatinal Institute  presented a momento to Mr. Anil Budhiraja. At this moment Mr. Vippin Uppal Internal Co-ordinator CDTP scheme & Mr. Aswani Dhiman; Community Development Consultant  of CDTP Scheme were also present .
